#2 Alfalfa is a mostly green quality bale. There is more visible variation in color and a thicker stem size than our #1, making it a great feeder for less active horses. It's a solid, dependable choice at an affordable price point. 

CAUTION: Always use cation when feeding new hay. Overfeeding high-protein, rich hay to inactive or mature easy-keeper animals can cause weight gain, digestive upset, or urinary issues.
