A premium medicated chick starter crafted for a strong start, Nutrena NatureWise Chick Starter Grower Medicated 18% Protein poultry feed is formulated with the right balance of protein, amino acids, prebiotics, probiotics, yeast cultures, and essential oils, plus Amprolium for the prevention of coccidiosis in unvaccinated chicks. Probiotics, prebiotics, and yeast culture are also included to help chick digestion and aid in nutrient absorption. This antibiotic-free feed has essential oils from star anise, rosemary, thyme, and oregano extracts added to stimulate feed consumption, support bird growth, bone formation, and provide chicks with protection against coccidiosis. The crumble form encourages consumption and is optimized for smaller breeds and chicks. NatureWise Chick Starter Grower Feed Medicated is packaged in a 7lb bag.

Feeding Instructions: 

Feed NatureWise Chick Starter Grower as the sole diet beginning at hatch

Don't let feeders run empty

Clean feeders and waterers regularly

Keep clean, fresh water available at all times

At 16 weeks or onset of lay, switch to a NatureWise® complete layer diet. Choose from Layer feed in crumble or pellet form, Hearty Hen,® Free-Range Egg Producer, or Feather Fixer®

Note: Note: Feed containing amprolium must not be fed to chicks that have been vaccinated for coccidiosis for 28 days post inoculation or waterfowl.
