Triumph Senior Dry 50#

Triumph® Senior Horse Feed is a nutritionally balanced feed for senior horses that can be fed as sole ration.

  • Your horse’s ideal feed rate depends on body weight, activity level, and forage intake.
  • If your horse has no dental problems, feed clean, good quality hay at the rate of 1.0 to 1.75 lb (kg) of hay per 100 lb (kg) of bodyweight per day or the pasture equivalent.
  • If your horse has severe dental problems, Triumph Senior horse feed may be soaked with warm water to form a mash. The mixture should soak for five to eight minutes until it reaches the consistency your horse prefers.
  • For horses who cannot consume roughage properly, feed Triumph Senior at a rate of 1.2 – 1.6% of bodyweight per day, in replacement of roughage.
  • To dial in the right amount, start with the Horse Feed Calculator below. It generates a personalized daily ration (lbs/day) based on your inputs, giving you a practical baseline to fine‑tune.
  • Monitor body condition weekly and adjust in small increments as needed.
  • Divide the recommended feeding level into two or more equally spaced feedings per day.
  • Salt and fresh water should be available free choice.
  • When changing diets, transition gradually over 5–7 days.
  • Consult our equine experts for special diet questions.
